Photo1M is a small camera for iPhone. It takes photos that land around 1 MB, records light video, and runs entirely on your device — no account, no ads, no tracking, no server. Most questions are answered below; if yours isn't, just email us.
Allow access in Settings → Privacy & Security → Camera (and Microphone), or open Settings → Photo1M and check the switches there.
Photo1M needs permission to add photos: Settings → Privacy & Security → Photos → Photo1M → Allow. "Add Photos Only" is enough — the app never reads your library.
Turn on "Keep Location" in the app's settings screen (gear icon at the bottom right), then allow location access when iOS asks. The location is written into the file on your device only; it is never uploaded.
Open the unlock screen and tap Restore Purchases, and make sure you're signed in with the same Apple ID you bought with. If it still doesn't unlock, email us with your Apple ID region and the purchase date.
Ten photos a day in Balanced mode. The counter resets every day, and video is not limited by it.
Balanced mode targets around 1 MB, and the app shows you the real file size before you save. The exact number depends on the scene — busy, detailed shots end up larger than simple ones.
HEIC gives the smallest files and is the default. Switch to JPEG in the settings screen when you need a format that opens on older Android phones and Windows PCs.
Video records at 720p (Balanced) or 1080p (High quality) and is saved without re-encoding, so it stays close to the size the camera produces.
Yes. Shooting, compressing, saving and every setting work with no connection. The only time the app touches the network is when Apple processes an in-app purchase.
No account, no analytics, no ads, no tracking. Photos, videos and location never leave your device. See the privacy policy for details.
The app interface is currently in Chinese. An English interface is in progress, and this page will be updated when it ships.
Email support@engout.win with your device model, iOS version, and a short description of what happened. Photo1M is a one-person project, so please allow a day or two for a reply.
